THOUGHT FORMS
The series try to capture the impossible shapes of human thoughts. Big organic shapes, characterized by essential colors and fluidity, interacting with each other through fine strong lines. They act as energetic machines shaping the landscape of our consciousness.
ENERGY BODIES
Female bodies tend to be represented as a static and gentle beauty. Through the usage of vibrant colours, the bodies in the series are represented as a a strong energetic field which embodies all the strength required to bring life into the world.
FLYING SOULS
{...} for love, which allows us to see others as the divinity sees them {...}

about me
I am a visual artist born in Argentina and currently based in Barcelona, Spain.
My creative work emerged around late 2019, when the COVID pandemic was starting and right after becoming a mother for the first time.
I try to capture the softness and fluidity of human nature. Bodies, thoughts and emotions are the main themes of my work. They are characterized by ambivalance, strong and fragile, fluid and rigid.
I like to think about abstract concepts in a pictorial way, as it allows me to understand them better. Most of my abstract work refer to these visualizations.
Watercolor, inks and other liquid mediums allow me to work with a constant tension between the desire for control and the need to let go. Intense pigments represent the strength of nature and our emotions, while the water allows the feelings of the process to be kept in the piece. The quiet and often minimal use of colors and shapes tries to counteract the voracious visual stimuli of modern days.
Beauty is an essential part of my art, and I perceive it as whatever touches a human heart and interrupts the thinking process for a moment. Through all of my paintings I try to convey a sense of flow and freedom, similar to what can be communicated by music.
I feel deeply touched by the work of the artist Vassily Kandinsky and his vision of the spiritual dimension of art, its role in human society and the artist's responsibility to deliver a glimpse into the most elevated aspects of our nature. These concepts guide most of my work nowadays.
